The Gurpurab Committee of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, today celebrated the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by dedicating an Annual Gurmat Samagam in the Centenary Hall of the institute.
The Samagam began on 1st November 2025 with the Arambh of Sri Akhand Path Sahib and concluded on 3rd November 2025 with the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, marking the completion of the continuous recitation of the holy Gurbani. Afterwards, the Shabad Kirtan continued throughout the day till late night, filling the hall with a spiritual aura and devotion.
This occasion was graced by the melodious Ragi Jathas, including Bhai Navdeep Singh Ji (Hazoori Raagi, Gurdwara Sahib, Sector 46), Bhai Karnail Singh Ji (Hazoori Raagi, Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar), Bhai Onkar Singh Ji (Hazoori Raagi, Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar), and Bhai Rai Singh Ji (Hazoori Raagi, Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar).
The celebration reflected the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji — spreading the message of peace, unity, humility, and compassion — and inspired the PEC fraternity to follow the path of selfless service and righteousness.
