The Department of Electrical Engineering at Punjab Engineering College successfully organized a comprehensive workshop on the theme “Fundamentals of Household Appliances: Concept, Working, and Hands-on.” The workshop was designed to provide school students with a strong foundation in the basic principles and operational mechanisms of commonly used household electrical appliances.

The session commenced with an inaugural address by distinguished faculty, highlighting the importance of practical learning and technological awareness in today’s world. A total of 30 students from various schools actively participated in the workshop, making it an engaging and interactive learning experience.

The workshop included live demonstrations and hands-on activities, enabling participants to understand the internal working, efficiency, and safety aspects of appliances. Special emphasis was placed on energy conservation, star ratings, and the responsible use of electrical devices.

The event was coordinated by experienced faculty members, ensuring a well-structured and informative session.
