Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, is proud to announce that a team of its students secured First Prize at the prestigious General Quiz competition held during Insomnia at IISER Mohali.

The winning team comprised: Avi Sinha – 4th Year, Mechanical Engineering, Daksh Mehla – 4th Year, Civil Engineering, Yatharth Ratti – 4th Year, Electrical Engineering

Competing against some of the brightest minds from leading institutions across the country, the PEC team demonstrated exceptional knowledge, analytical thinking, and teamwork to emerge as overall winners in a highly competitive quiz that tested participants across diverse domains including current affairs, science, history, culture, and global developments.

Insomnia, the annual cultural and intellectual festival of IISER Mohali, is known for attracting top student talent from premier institutions nationwide. The General Quiz is one of its flagship events, demanding not only factual knowledge but also lateral thinking and composure under pressure.
