Dear friends, 
We have lost Commodore Arun Mehta yesterday at Chandigarh after his two years battle with prostate cancer. His mortal remains were taken by the family last evening to their native place of Palampur for cremation!

From among us, RAdm Atul Khanna and Archana were with the family yesterday. Cdr Surinder Dhir had seen them recently.... And others were in telephonic support.

Arun specialised in the maintenance of  Sea-Harrier jets and tenanted many important appointments in the Air Engg stream of the Indian Navy.

Arun was a jolly good company to his Navy coursemates over four decades. Chose to settle amidst the beautiful environ of Dhauladhar range.

Prayers for deliverance of the fine soul! Deepest condolences to Vneeta, daughter Maj Priyanka (Retd), son Varun and their respective spouses! Strength to all family, near and dear ones!🙏🏼🌼💫
