As part of Sewa Pakhwada 2025, the Rotaract Club of Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, in accordance with the Dean Student Affairs, organized a heart-warming visit to the Day Care Centre, Senior Citizen Home, Sector 15D, Chandigarh, on September 27 at 11 a.m. The initiative was conducted under the guidance of Sh. Dinesh Dixit, Centre Co-ordinator, with the support of Rotaract President Simrat Kaur, Secretary Lakshit Jain, and Faculty In-Charge Mr. Vibhor Chaswal.
The visit aimed to bring joy and companionship to the elderly residents. Rotaractors distributed household essentials such as soap, toothbrushes, combs, and creams, along with hand towels. A lively game of tambola was organized for the seniors, and winners Zeenat, Ramesh, Vijay Kumari, Sheela, and Raksha were presented with special gifts.

The seniors too joined in the fun; Jaswant Kaur captured hearts by singing several songs during antakshari, making it a memorable intergenerational exchange.
