The Department of Mechanical Engineering inaugurated a two-week Research Skill Accelerate Program (RSAP) from March 9-21, 2026 in collaboration with CSIR-CSIO and IIT Roorkee. The program covers product design, hybrid manufacturing, Big Data, IoT, and robotics applications, equipping participants with contemporary knowledge for sustainable manufacturing practices.
Aakriti Dobhal, an alumna of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School and Punjab Engineering College, achieved All India Rank (AIR) 93 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. Her achievement in her fourth attempt highlights her dedication, consistent preparation, and academic excellence, bringing pride to Chandigarh.
