The Rotaract Club of Punjab Engineering College organized a joyful Holi celebration at Vridhhi School, conducting creative sessions including ladyfinger painting, leaf painting, straw-blow color art, and tricolour flag face painting. The event brought smiles to children's faces and strengthened bonds between volunteers and students, making the day heartwarming.
CDSL and BSE jointly hosted a mega regional investor awareness seminar titled "Shikshit Se Saksham" at Punjab Engineering College, drawing over 350 participants including women entrepreneurs and retail investors. The initiative aimed to deepen understanding of securities markets, promote responsible investing, and raise awareness about cyber safety.
The New Jersey batch of 1968 alumni held a February quarter gathering where members reconnected over lunch. The event featured alumni from various disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, fostering camaraderie and strengthening alumni bonds across decades and geographies.

Pawan jit Singh, a gold medalist from PEC 1968 Mechanical batch, passed away in February after battling health challenges in Florida. A valued member of his batch, his passing deeply affected the PEC community, with numerous heartfelt condolences from alumni worldwide expressing their sorrow.
The Electrical Engineering Department organized an industry-academia expert lecture week featuring renowned industry professionals and distinguished alumni sharing insights on distribution systems, PLC programming, industrial control, and renewable energy integration, enhancing students' technical knowledge.
The lecture week featured expert sessions including power trading mechanisms with Mr. Rajeev Sapra, IoT for smart governance with Dr. Ravinder Singh, and 3D printing technology with Mr. Anmol Khurana. These industry-focused lectures bridged academic learning with practical industry applications.
PEC's Bachelor of Design programme hosted an art exhibition themed "Wellness Through Art" showcasing diverse artworks promoting mindfulness, emotional balance, and mental well-being. Guests of honour including Artscapes President Mrs. Summit Sharma and entrepreneur Munish Jauhar highlighted the importance of nurturing art for social wellbeing.
Commodore Arun Mehta, an aeronautical alumnus who specialized in sea-harrier jet maintenance, passed away after battling prostate cancer. A jovial personality and important figure in the Indian Navy community, his loss deeply affected family and friends who shared condolences honoring his distinguished service.
PEC organized an expert lecture on IoT for smart cities aligned with "Vikasit Bharat 2047" vision, featuring a practical hands-on session using Raspberry Pi 4. Dr. Sanjay Batish highlighted IoT applications in energy, water, transportation, and healthcare, demonstrating smart system design fundamentals.
