An Engineering Graduate from PEC, Chandigarh with Post Graduate Diplomas in 
Management and Information Technology and a vast experience of over 40 years working 
with leading IT Companies.
Starting his career in 1983 with Blue Star Ltd. as a Project Engineer, he quickly moved up 
the corporate ladder as a Senior Executive at CMC Ltd., the Vice President (Marketing) at 
the French transnational - Tecnova Information Systems, culminating at Meera Information Technologies (the software export division of a DSE, LSE listed - Meera & Co. Ltd.) as its CEO in 1990.
Going on to start Infotecnics in 1991, he built it into one of the most respected, recognized 
and fast growing System Integration Companies in India by 2002- at which stage the 
business of Infotecnics was taken over by NSE, BSE listed, Visesh Infosystems Ltd. As CEO 
& Managing Director of the merged entity, he guided it to form its global vision and spread 
into new technologies, applications and markets. Under his astute leadership the Company grew into what Deloitte recognised as one of India's and Asia-Pacific's fastest growing Technology companies three years running. He was also a Director of Image Analyser Limited (UK); a Director of Opentech Thai Network Specialists Limited (Thailand) and the Chairman of Cyberworks Visesh LLC (USA).
He founded Mentorpreneur Advisors in 2009 and continues to mentor over fifty Indian SMEs 
& start-ups as well as develop strategies for several large transnationals in their business 
pursuits since then. He runs a Technology Incubator from NOIDA and is also a pro-bono 
Advisor to PEC’s Incubator. As an Expert on the panel of National Entrepreneurship 
Network, he is a frequent speaker on Entrepreneurship at several Management Institutes & Engineering Colleges and also mentors Start-ups at the e-Cells of IITs at Delhi, Bombay & Kharagpur; the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and NIT, Tiruchirapalli. He is also on the Steering Committee of the Directorate of Leadership, Innovation & Incubation of SRM University AP.
Sanjiv was awarded the ‘Udyog Rattan’ in 2007 and was included in the ‘International Who's 
Who of Professionals’ and ‘Madison Who's Who’ for his outstanding contributions to the 
Indian IT Industry. He was bestowed the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” by PEC in 2017;honoured by SME Channels magazine as the “Best Mentor for Startups & SMEs in 
Information Technology” for 2017 and by Digital Edge magazine as “IT Channel Evangelist of India” for 2022. Apart from these recognitions, he has won dozens of Awards 
from International Audit Firms, Industry Associations, IT Companies and Publications. A media favourite, he has been interviewed extensively on various business news channels on TV, business, investment & industry publications and mainstream newspapers.
Patriotic to the core, immensely connected to his Alma Mater, he is the President of PECOSA 
NCR Chapter and a catalyst for the emerging India story
