Signing of "Kaushik Mahajan Memorial Scholarship" MoU

We are thrilled to announce the signing of the "Kaushik Mahajan Memorial Scholarship" Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PEC, Chandigarh and the MSK Mahajan Family Charitable Trust, Chandigarh. This esteemed scholarship stands as a tribute to the cherished memory of Sh. Kaushik Mahajan, a distinguished alumnus of our institute from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Branch, graduating in the year 1996. Sh. Kaushik Mahajan's legacy and passion for education will continue to inspire generations to come.
The "Kaushik Mahajan Memorial Scholarship" aims to support economically underprivileged students, preferably from the VLSI domain, throughout their undergraduate journey at PEC. This scholarship serves as a beacon of hope for deserving students, offering financial assistance alongside academic encouragement. It not only honors the memory of Sh. Kaushik Mahajan but also reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering inclusivity within the PEC community.
The MoU was signed on 16th April, 2024 by Dr. Rajesh Kanda ( Head Alumni Corporate & International Relations) with Sh. MK Mahajan in the presence of Dr. Jimmy Karloopia (Prof.-in-charge Alumni Corporate & International Relations), Ms. Rajinder Kaur (Alumni Relations Manager).
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sh. Muni Lal Mahajan, Chairman of the MSK Mahajan Family Charitable Trust, for initiating this noble endeavor.
