Prof. J S Bajwa (20 March 1928 – 23 May 2021)

Grief has overwhelmed us all at the demise of Prof. J S Bajwa. His colleagues & PEC students across the world have expressed their sadness, recalled happy memories with Prof. Bajwa and extolled the richness of his life – an academician & guide par excellence, his affectionate & compassionate disposition and a rewardingly successful professional career. He was an Alumnus of PEC (1954 Elect., Roorkee Campus), obtained Ph.D. from Ohio State University and rose to be the first Head of Department of the then newly founded Electronics & Communication Eng. Dept. at PEC. He was residing in his house in Sector 11, Chandigarh.

Everyone prays for his soul to rest deservedly at the lap of the Lord in everlasting peace. We also pray with folded hands for you, the immediate family members, to be provided the strength to endure this loss and move on with joyful memories of the years spent in the togetherness.

May God grant Moksha – the eternal peace – to the departed noble soul  ...... and we promise to stand with the family, in whatever manner required.
