Our next guest for the Alumni Webinar series will be Manish Arora. He is our own alum from Department of Computer Science Engineering (1997-2001.) Manish Arora holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Punjab Engineering College (Chandigarh, India) and an MBA from INSEAD (France). He has held executive management roles at two venture capital funded start-ups in addition to having been an advisor to a number of businesses, large and small, on improving business performance and maximising returns. He is currently based out of Bangalore, India and is working on founding an EdTech start-up to deliver the mission to make millions across the country more employable. Manish has lived and worked in South and East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the UK, and North America.

As Manish puts it, the world today is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA). Finding careers in such times is a huge feat which requires more than just graduate or higher level education He has also authored a book 'VUCAREER' which discusses how to develop key skills necessary for employability in current times. He will be sharing his own experiences as well as a brief overview on how this current generation of graduates will have to develop themselves to succeed in this VUCA world.
