We are pleased to announce that Punjab Engineering College is going to host the eleventh lecture of our ongoing Centenary Lecture Series with The Padma Shri Awardee, Mr. Michel Danino on the momentous occasion of ‘Parakaram Diwas’, 23rd January 2021.
Our distinguished Speaker is one of the most renowned Indologists and has authored several publications, declassifying and enlightening the treasures of the Ancient Literature of India.

He also serves as a guest professor at IIT Gandhinagar and has been a member of the Indian Council of Historical Research. He is widely known for his meticulous research on tracing the mythical origins of the “Sarasvati River” and identifying it with the present-day “Ghaggar-Hakra River”.
He is also a contributing author of an encyclopedic volume “Wiley - Blackwell”, on South Asian history and archaeology, about the domain of Indus Valley Civilization. In 2017, the Government of India awarded Mr. Danino with the Padma Shri for his brilliant work in Indian Literature and Education.
