In the next edition of PEC Alumni Webinar Series, we have Alum Dharmesh Bhutani with us. He completed his Production Engineering in 1983. He is currently working as the COO-Surface Engineering at IND-SPHINX Precision Ltd (Unit-B); a manufacturer of solid carbide micro tools that also offers PVD coatings and state-of-the-art MMP superfinishing technology.

He has around 35 years of experience in the field of PVD Coating and has gained expertise in the field of Surface Engineering. He has spent 12 years with a company that pioneered this technology in India and more than a decade with the Japanese company IHI-Ionbond Coatings, as the Country Head. For the last few years, he has been associated with various reputed institutes and forums where he has shared his knowledge on finding surface engineering solutions for various applications.

He will be presenting on the topic “Surface Engineering: Revolutionary MMP superfinishing technology and PVD coating - a unique combination”. His session will be providing us with information and insights into this technology, the industrial applications and the innovations.
