In the next edition of the PEC Alumni Webinar Series, we have Alum Agnit Mukhopadhyay among us. He completed his Bachelor of Technology from Punjab Engineering College in 2016 and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2018. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Space Sciences and Scientific Computing from the University of Michigan.

He owns vast experience in the field of research and has gained various honors and recognition for his contributions to the field of Science. His top achievements include:
NASA Earth and Space Sciences Fellowship (2018 – 21)
Rackham Research Grant Fellowship – PreCandidate (2019)
Michigan Institute of Plasma Sciences and Engineering Fellowship (2018)
UCAR/LWS Heliophysics Summer School Scholarship (2018)
NASA CCMC Student Research Contest Winner (2017)

He will be presenting on the topic “Space Science - A Realm of Engineering & Physics” through which he aims on making us familiar with the studies involved in Space Science and how Engineering and Physics both play a crucial role in exploring this field.
