In the next edition of the PEC Alumni Webinar Series, next up we have Alum Akshit Singla on board. He completed his Computer Science Engineering in 2014 and is currently pursuing Masters of Science in Engineering Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA. He recently completed 6 years at Amadeus IT Group and has worked towards multiple Corporate Innovation initiatives.

He has been contributing to the future of travel through multiple roles like software development, running start-up engagement programs, innovation consultancy and developer advocacy. Apart from this, he is on a sabbatical from the industry and leveraging his experience in the innovation industry to bring positive impact in India through his project called “Darwaze”. He has gained a lot of industry knowledge during this time and owns vast knowledge in the fields of Android Development, iOS Development and programming.

He will be presenting on the topic “Corporate Innovation in Travel Technology” through which he aims to inform us of how the travel-technology industry works, and to demystify the jargon around corporate innovation with concrete examples from his experience.
