Establishing a Lasting Tribute: The Ms. Charu Puri Award at PEC

PEC (Punjab Engineering College) proudly announces the establishment of the Ms. Charu Puri Award, commemorating the vibrant spirit of Late Ms. Charu Puri, a distinguished BE Final Year student from the Department of Electrical Engineering (2003-2007 batch). The initiative stems from a heartfelt donation by Mr. P.P. Puri, dedicated to honoring his daughter's memory and her enduring impact at PEC.

On May 16, 2024, PEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. P.P. Puri to formalize the establishment of this prestigious award. The signing ceremony, led by Dr. Rajesh Kanda, Head Alumni, Corporate & International Relations, and witnessed by Dr. Jimmy Karloopia, Prof-in-charge (Alumni, Corporate & International Relations), and Ms. Rajinder Kaur, Alumni Relations Manager, marked a significant moment in PEC's history. This MoU underscores PEC's commitment to celebrating excellence in academics and vibrant club and cultural activities.

The Ms. Charu Puri Award, sustained through the interest generated from a substantial donation, will be presented annually during the convocation.
