His dedication, leadership, and passion for making a positive impact serve as an inspiration for us all.

Maneshwar Chahal PEC63, Mech :Amarjit Kolhi was a go getter. He was a batch junior but we interacted often. Firstly in Delhi when I was jt secy agriculture in GOI and then whenever he organised various functions. Was very active in keeping Kalpana Chawla’s memory alive, and in organising musical events. His passing is a big loss.
May the Lord grant his soul eternal peace. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

He was helpful to any one who had approached him for any help He did work hard for setting up of pecobians soçiety in Delhi añd had got published directory of old pec students since yr 1935.

Jagdish Raj Mahajan 1963E : Deeply grieved to learn about Amarjit’s demise. We were together at BIS along with RCJain and founded PECOBA along with a few others in Delhi. His contribution to building PEC alumni community is exemplary. He compiled the first Alumni directory in 2000 almost single handed. Every year he conducted Kalpana Chawla anniversary as a grand show.His contribution to music industry is laudable by giving chance to many budding artists. A lovable friend who was in touch with me all these years although i shifted to Bombay 50 years ago.
May God grant Sadgati to his soul and give enough courage to his family to bear this loss.

Amarjit made an exemplary contribution in building pec alumni network. Pecoba was started in 1967 by 5 of us-Amarjit. RC Jain , myself (all from BIS-then ISI), Arun Kumar and Kewal Kishan of 62 batch. However after my departure from Delhi . He organised a number of musical and drama functions jointly with his Kala Sangam. He single-handedly conducted the largest ever GTG in Delhi. His biggest contribution is compilation of the Pecoba Directory in 2000 that carries names, addresses, positions, phone numbers of most of the employees who passed out till 1998.
He was a great friend and was in touch with me regularly. The last I spoke to him was two months ago. All of us will miss him very much. His contribution in building the alumni network will be remembered always. So will his tributes to the film personalities on their birth and death anniversaries.
Rajinder BEDI PEC65 : Amarjeet Singh Kohli was a great force multiplier and creator of pecoba. He had organised a great show DSOI dhaula Kuan New Delhi and nitish kumar present chief minister of Bihar was chief guest
He had promised to get pec converted to IIT Chandigarh but there was poor response from college management to Amarjeet Singh Kohli
On 10 th feb there is great alumni meet of 1964 bch and this sudden Catastrophe will make the event somber.
I am told over 100 ex students of 1964 batch are assemble at pecosa function from India and abroad

Er. Amarjit Kohli was the creator & main force behind PECOBA Delhi Chapter, organized many annual programs to pay tributes to Kalpana Chawla, along with his Musical Troop.
He also organised the mammoth Millennium get-together for PECOBA in Delhi in the year 2000. He was a man of immense capabilities.
May God grant Sadgati - eternal peace, to the departed noble soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
