Brig (Retd.) Gobindar Singh, February 25, 1925 - August 30, 2021,Chandigarh, PEC/Civil/1947

With profound grief and deep sorrow, we inform you the demise of Brig. (Retd.) Gobindar Singh on August 30, 2021. During his illustrious career, he served as CWE Chandigarh, CWE Calcutta, DCE HQ 15 Corps, as CE, Project Beacon, as Dir Tech Plg at HQ DGBR, as CE West Zone, Bombay. In Jul 77, he was selected for deputation to the Ministry of Shipping and Transport as Addl Dir Gen (Roads) and as Dir Gen (Road) Development and Addl Secy to the Govt of India in 1981. During his tenure as CE, Bombay, for recognition of his services, he was awarded with AVSM on 26 Jan 1976.

May this noble soul rest in peace and may God grant the strength to the bereaved family, Mrs. Bandna Singh and Mrs. Herman Singh Bhasin (daughters) and friends to bear this irreparable loss.
